Trividha- an interschool fest

On 28th October 2022, students of The Rajas International School, Kurichy were taken to an inter school fest held at BMM Senior Secondary School who organised an event named TRIVIDHA 2022. 7 students from AL and ASL and one teacher participated in the event. Participants representing different schools had come to take part in the competition. The event started at 10 am with an inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of lamp by Chief guest Prof. Dr. Thomas Kuruvilla, Head of the department, Baselius College, Kottayam.

After the inaugural ceremony, participants were taken by the organisers to each events. It was a sublime opportunity for students to exhibit their talents and skills as well as share their ideas. The event aims to establish a place where everyone is included and is welcomed to showcase their expertise to further create cognizance regarding life among the youth. The event was categorized into three: Optazia for Commerce stream, Xenora for Humanities stream and Sthithapragya for Science stream. Our students participated in Quizophile, Lock Horns and Recyclage.

A team consisting of 3 members Aryan S Nair, Abhijith S Nair and Tejas Joshua participated for Recyclage. The topic was ‘Save the Earth’ Title of the item made- Playing to Save the Earth Synopsis – A groundbreaking football match which decides the fate of the earth. ‘Playing to Save the Earth’ is a table football which can be used as a source of entertainment. One side of the team represented the ‘non-green earth’ with the players named after factors such as climate change, deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions and the other team represented the ‘green’ earth with players named after factors like afforestation, water saving, reduce-reuse-recycle etc. This item shows that with the correct values and proper awareness, we can save the earth.

Sion Varghese and Ann Thomas participated in Lock Horns, Debate. The topic of the debate was ‘Are gender neutral uniforms truly effective in promoting equality in schools?’. Sion spoke in favour of the topic, and Ann spoke against the topic. Both of them performed very well. The debate helped the students to think critically and share their views on the given topic. It was an amazing experience that improved their knowledge and skills.

Experts from every Schools came to take part in the competition. They proved their points in such a manner that the audience was convinced. This is a competition conducted to bring out the talents in the students and to take it to the next level. The participants exhibited their oratory skills and displayed their knowledge

Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative, which provide excitement among the Students. Adwaid Reghukumar and Sain George participated in Quizophile, which is a Business Quiz conducted with 2 rounds. There were 15 teams with 2 members participated in the competition. Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. The main objective of this event to make them aware of Business. The event was conducted by the Commerce Department to encourage students to gain general knowledge, apart from subject knowledge.

All the necessary arrangements for the participants were arranged in the school where the competition was held. There were refreshment counters and snack bars. Also there were necessary precautions taken in case of any emergencies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This event helped the students to discover their talents and also gave a happy and memorable moments.
